Barb and I were tired from running around all day. We wanted to go out near our home, but felt like eating something upscale and she wanted fish. In a town full of pizza parlors and Chinese restaurants, there’s only one choice: UVA.
We’ve been going to UVA regularly since they opened, about 7 or 8 years ago. The waiter who has taken care of us since the beginning is now a part owner along with the chef. The food has been consistently good. The service is very professional and the ambiance is pleasant except on nights when they have multiple private parties. It’s a byob and people often bring lots more wine than they need. Myself included.
Last night we brought a nice Spanish gran reserva.
We started with a delicious salmon Carpaccio which I forgot to photograph. It was a generous portion perfect for sharing.

UVA is undeniably the finest restaurant in Richboro. When you’re in the neighborhood, definitely give it a try. Remember to bring your bottle of wine.
