Take a trip over to this delightful, small shop and have a chat with a true chocolate enthusiast.

Had a great dinner with our friends Gary and Jodi last night at Oishi in Newtown. It’s byob with a minimal corkage fee of $4 or $5 for one bottle and $7 for two or more. Their sushi is always pristine and their chefs’ creations are very innovative. Their presentation is very appealing, reminding meContinue reading “Oishi in Newtown”

My nephew, Jesse, called me last week to tell me he found a restaurant that I would love. Being, at all times, on the lookout for new places to chow down well, I thanked him and booked a table. We’ve been going here for many years and are especially fond of their Eggplant Parmigiana. Every Mother’s Day we are required by our daughters to bring a tray of thisContinue reading “Florentino’s in Newtown, PA”

Relax. Enjoy with some mellow music or with someone close. Put up your feet.

This was an awesome meal. I delude myself that it’s low carb, so not unhealthy. I didn’t gain any weight. So other than the 76ers losing their playoff game, it was a perfect night.

I’ve been wanting to eat at Vida and Comida for quite a while. I love their food and wish there were more authentic Spanish restaurants and chefs around my homes. I feel that Spain has taken over the spot of “top countries for innovative cuisine.” I’ve always been a fan of paella and flan, butContinue reading “Vida and Comida in Ambler, PA”
