It seems that I have reviewed Ko many times in the past. I guess I posted it on Facebook or previous blogs. We have been going to Ko as often as possible since it opened as a spin-off of Oishi. Last year it was the first place I ate indoors after recovering from Covid. The food is consistantly delicious. The service has been off a bit lately because, like every other place, they can’t get enough help. Nonetheless, lots of people are piling up at the door, dieing to get in for the great meals and are willing to suffer the slower service. I can tell you the food is never lacking in quality, quantity, or flavor.
As usual, I forgot to take a picture of my first dish. When they delivered my Oishi Spicy Soup I got very excited and dug right in. I made sure to share it with Barb and my friends, Mike and Lynne. Everybody enjoyed the intense flavor and agreed it was very spicy. Then Mike pointed out I forgot my picture and laughed. If you love spicy soups, this is a dish not to miss at both Ko and Oishi.

KO has been the top Korean restaurant for me for several years. Their ”modern” tweeks on Korean food are a treat. The manager, John, is always looking to please his customers and keeps a close eye on everything going on.
When you are going to be in Newtown, be sure to reserve a table. It’s great fun and great food.
Once again you ignite the special cravings in all the real eaters who read your blog.
I have visions of pork belly buns dancing in my head.

I see nobody ordered kimchi. I overdosed on the stuff while in Korea and now can’t stand the sight or smell of it.
