When going out to dinner, choosing a place gets more difficult as your group gets larger. Factor in the search for places that serve al fresco, a cold snap in the weather and different preferences in favored dining times, making a choice can become almost impossible. It’s a good thing that Vince and Claudia, Tony and Paulette and Barb and I are always willing to compromise, modify, and indulge in order to have a fun evening dining together.
It also helped that Parmesan Pete’s had a sizable outdoor area with sufficient heaters. The night we went they had several specials as well as a sizable regular menu with plenty of appealing options. Their wine list is loaded with excellent choices at reasonable prices.

Parmesan Pete’s turned out to be an excellent restaurant. Our waiter was a delightful young man who explained all of the dishes very accurately. He also helped us choose the right wines for our meal.
The heaters kept us pretty toasty until one went out They did not have a replacement propane tank. By then we were almost done our meals. The ambiance outside was very mellow and pleasant. The indoor room was a bit crowded with nobody wearing masks. It did look very homey..
I recommend trying Parmesan Pete’s. It is a truly Brooklyn-style Italian restaurant from the house made Marzano tomato sauce to the excellently prepared fish. They have a $20 corkage fee as well as a nicely chosen house wine list. The service is attentive and caring. You really cant go wrong with this place.
Now that’s good EATING.!
